a cloudy & windy day won’t stop us traveling back in time, so we stepped on to the time machine (= train & metro, LOL), and went back to the 1950s: Helsinki Vintage.
okay, so it’s not the ’50s, but the stuffs sold there remind me more of that era than any other past eras (i would’ve loved it if there’re ’20s and ’30s stuffs!).
AmeNoMachi dress, AmeNoMachi belt, self-made dimsum headdress, remade vintage shoes, white topshop stockings worn under nude coloured diamond-patterned stockings from Daisho, Next watch.
indeed.bought a dimsum flannel set from Kamar, made them, and attached one of them to a headband..et voila! i got dimsum on my head .
remade vintage shoes??
yep.i got these shoes from Antti’s grandmum some years ago, as they couldn’t fit her feet anymore. they’re just plain white high-heeled shoes.
i actually wore them to my own wedding reception.
when i took them out from our storage room some weeks ago, i found out that now they have smears of black colour here and there that are beyond cleaning/repair.
after attempting to cover them up with giftwrap paper + plastic, and FAILED (of course, what kind of a lunatic would cover their shoes with gitfwrap paper + plastic??), i finally decided to think like Freya .
bought myself a black permanent marker, and then i just DREW on the shoes, lalalalala (yeah, i am THAT crazy. now you know just how much).
turned out pretty good, i might just wear them around town again for a few more times before they finally wear out (and become 100% beyond repair this time…).
