buat org2 yg baru aja stumble upon my lill homepage here or temen2 lama yg baru nemu gue kembali..
here are their frequently asked questions to yours truly..me, that is.
mereka selalu nanya, kapan kawin? udh punya anak? di mana lo skarang? ngapain aja? blablabla…
well, to feed their hunger of knowing the truth, just read the FAQs and their answers below, okay?
1. When did you get married?
Well, if you must know, i got married legally on November 10th, 2006. Which means our anniversary is coming soon in another, oh, 3.5 months?? Yay me 😉
2. Who is your husband?
His name is Antti Haka, a (now) 24 year old Finn. We met online on the year 1998 (you do the math) and never really lost contact with each other. We finally were able to meet each other when he came to Indonesia on December 2005, though a year before that things were already getting more than just a “friendly” relationship between us. On this trip, he met my family, and the next year at summer i met his. The rest is history.
3. And where did you get married?
Here in Finland, in a place called Maistraatti. It’s like the civil office here.
4. Were your parents there when you got married?
5. (gasp!) But did they know that you’re getting married??
OF COURSE! We didn’t elope or anything. It just so happens that getting married in Indonesia when you have a different religion with your partner is pretty much impossible, so we decided to get married here. But alas, we weren’t (and still aren’t) rich, so when the time came for us to get married, none of my family member had the money yet to come here with me and witness our wedding. Thus the lack of any of my family member on our wedding day.
6. So when’s the party?
The party was just 2 weekends ago, on July 14th 2007, in which my mother was present.
7. Why wasn’t I invited?
Do i need to remind you that the party was held in Finland and that we aren’t rich? It was a small party, and nonetheless, the ones who were actually invited had to be those closest to me & my husband, apart from our immediate family members. Don’t get offended if you didn’t receive our invitation, especially if you live in Indonesia. Chances are, you won’t come either since the accomodation here isn’t exactly cheap (unless you’re a millionaire, and i don’t remember having a friend who’s actually a millionaire :p). We know you all would like to come to give us your blessings, but you can still do that from as far as Indonesia, right? 😉 So thank you, and thanks too for your understanding.
8. So where are you now?
We are now living happily in Finland, in a city (or town, however you want to put it) called Espoo. It’s just 15 minutes away (by train or bus) from Helsinki, the capital city of Finland. We live in an apartment building, in a kaksio, also known as an apartment for 2 people. It has 1 closed bedroom, 1 kitchen & dining room, living room, 1 bathroom and a small balcony. Pretty good for a new family like us 😉
9. And what do you do now?
Well, i’m still enrolled in a Finnish language course, which is needed for me to start looking for work here in Finland or to go to school (uni). I’ve just finished level 1, and will continue to level 2 in August. Right now i’m on my summer holiday, and basically just relaxing (if you can call doing all the housework “relaxing” :p) at home.
10. Are you pregnant yet?
NO, and we’re not planning to have kids in the near future yet. Ask again in another 5 years.
there you go, hope these answer all your FAQs!!
